Use taxis and do loads of things that you might not otherwise because you have paid the rip off prices at SL
If you actually have the cash to stay at SL - I would suggest staysomewhere else and then eat out many times at one of the many wondrerful places you have available. The extras are also very expensive and the same or better is available elsewhere at half the prifce - or get double for the same price I agree with the others about fitting in and finding it a relaxed atmoshpere They seem to have a way ( easy really) to detect that you are not super rich and are maybe only there as a one off - and treat you accordingly. Went again for a dink and BBQ Sunday lunch in 2005 - much the same with a new decor etc that I think is awful - especially from the sea it IMHO is certainly not worth the huge extra cost Stayed there once - some years ago before the refurbishment
